Overview:
The Lube Technician supports the maintenance of industrial-sized heavy equipment through lubrication, inspections, and basic servicing. All work is performed on industrial and mining equipment only — no passenger or personal vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Lubricate, and service heavy equipment and industrial machinery
- Grease booms, buckets, pulleys, running gear, and moving components
- Inspect equipment and document damage or defects
- Replace filters (oil, air) as required
- Operate pressure washers and steam trucks
- Complete daily service reports and housekeeping duties
- Follow site safety procedures and report issues to the Site Supervisor
Qualifications
- Grade 12 diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years related experience (industrial or heavy equipment preferred)
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence
- CSO certification (or CSTS/OSSA/BSO equivalent)
- Mask fit testing
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
