Lube Technician / Lube Apprentice

Overview:

The Lube Technician supports the maintenance of industrial-sized heavy equipment through lubrication, inspections, and basic servicing. All work is performed on industrial and mining equipment only — no passenger or personal vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lubricate, and service heavy equipment and industrial machinery
  • Grease booms, buckets, pulleys, running gear, and moving components
  • Inspect equipment and document damage or defects
  • Replace filters (oil, air) as required
  • Operate pressure washers and steam trucks
  • Complete daily service reports and housekeeping duties
  • Follow site safety procedures and report issues to the Site Supervisor

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years related experience (industrial or heavy equipment preferred)
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s licence
  • CSO certification (or CSTS/OSSA/BSO equivalent)
  • Mask fit testing
  • Strong attention to detail and time management
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English

Work Schedule: 6 x 6  Shift | 6 days on, 6 days off shifts, 12hr shift
